If you’ve accidentally paid for parking for the wrong vehicle, here’s what you can do based on your situation:
For Regular Parking Sessions:

Within the First 15 Minutes of the Session:
- Log into your RingGo account on the app.
- Go to the dashboard and select your active session.
- Choose the "Change Vehicle" option to switch to the correct vehicle.

After 15 Minutes Have Passed:
- Unfortunately, you won’t be able to change the vehicle after this time limit, as this is a policy set by the parking operator.
- In this case, you’ll need to purchase a new session for the correct vehicle.
- You may then request a refund for the duplicate session here.
For Permits:
- Go to myRingGo Permits, select the appropriate operator, and log into your account.
- On the “Permit Applications” page, if vehicle changes are permitted for your permit type, you’ll see an option to edit the vehicle.
Important Note about PCNs:
- If a PCN (parking fine) was issued between starting your session and realizing you paid for the wrong vehicle, you’ll need to appeal the fine directly with the parking operator. RingGo is unable to handle PCN appeals on your behalf.
