If you're experiencing issues with payment due to 3D Secure (3DS) authentication, recent security updates under PSD2 might be the cause.
To improve security and reduce fraud, card providers now require additional verification steps for online payments, including transactions with RingGo. Your card provider may request you to verify the transaction through their app or by entering a one-time passcode (OTP) sent via text.
If your payment authorisation wasn’t successful, here are some options:
- Contact Your Card Provider: Your bank or card provider can assist if you're having trouble with the authentication.
- Try Alternative Payment Methods: You may use Apple Pay or Google Pay, which may bypass some verification challenges.
- Use Our Telephone Service: To pay for parking, call 0203 046 0010. For permit sessions, dial 0203 046 0005.
Note for Company Cards: If you’re using a company card, you may not receive the OTP via SMS, which could lead to declines.
